Thanksgiving Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, full of love and grace, we sincerely thank You for watching over our lives and blessing us today. At this time, as we celebrate Thanksgiving, we come before You with gratitude for Your boundless grace and love.

Gratitude for God's Creation and Provision

We praise Your hands that created the whole world and filled it abundantly. We realize that the golden ripened grain and the fruits on the trees are symbols of Your abundant grace and mercy. We offer thanks and praise to You, who provide our daily bread and supply everything we need at every moment. We confess that every gust of fresh wind across the sky and every warm ray of sunshine coloring the fields are signs of Your great love.

Gratitude for the Blessings Received

Merciful Lord, as we gather here, we give sincere thanks for all the grace and blessings we have received from You. We thank You for allowing us to enjoy true happiness within the love of our family and friends. We pray that this time of thanksgiving may be an opportunity to remember the grace and love we have received and to share that love with our neighbors. May Your grace, which is poured out on us, overflow through us to reach everyone in the world.

God's Love in Responding to the Righteous

God, who allows us to reap what we sow, we praise Your faithful love that answers the righteous. When we walk on the right path in our lives and rely on You, You always faithfully guide and bless us. We thank You for allowing us to experience Your great grace, even in our small obedience and honesty.

Dedication to the Lord's Work

You have promised, Lord, that those who sow in tears will reap with joy. We believe that our labor and dedication to Your work will not be in vain. You are the One who blesses Your faithful servants and fills their labor with the joy of fruition. We believe that those who work for Your cause will eventually overflow with joy, and we offer all our dedication and labor to You. Lord, help us hold onto Your Word and live even more faithfully.

Prayer for South Korea

Merciful God, we pray for South Korea, which is struggling economically. May Your blessing be upon this nation, and may it become a blessed country where the mighty Lord is always present. May Your grace bring restoration to every area of economy, defense, politics, and diplomacy. May Your wisdom and guidance be upon all leaders, and may this country bring glory to You, allowing the people to live in peace and hope.

Prayer for the Poor and Lonely

Merciful God, we ask for Your blessing to be upon the poor, the lonely, the sick, and those who are being tested. Comfort them in their pain, fulfill their needs, and grant them new strength with Your love. Help us to pray for them, serve them, and let Your love overflow in their lives.

Gratitude for Hardships and New Beginnings

We thank You, Lord, for upholding us even through all the hardships and pain. May we remember Your grace, which comforts us in our sorrows and gives us strength in our weakness. We offer infinite thanks and praise to You for covering our sins with Your mercy and allowing us a new beginning.

Merciful Lord, even as we enjoy today's celebration, help us not to forget our neighbors who are in difficult situations. Give us hearts willing to extend a helping hand to them. May we serve others with everything You have given us, and may we have faith to pray for them and act. Fill this land with Your peace and love, and let our small acts of kindness become instruments to convey Your great love.

Prayer for Worship

Merciful God, may today's worship be wholly glorifying to You. May the broken-hearted be restored, may prayers be answered, and may Your peace fill our hearts.
